On week 4 we learned about a style of animation called rotoscoping. This involves using three adobe programs - Photoshop, Bridge and Premiere Pro. It worked by taking a video and changing the frame rate of it (to 12FPS) and drawing over each frame so that the animation would be staggered, with added effects.
In my rotoscope animation I recorded a simple video of someone using a vending machine, and tracing over it with different colours for each frame, as well as drawing in a few extra parts. This was done using a Wacom drawing tablet plugged into the Mac. I had 125 frames and only completed around 20 of them for my animation, so part of it was not complete, however it created a unique rainbow effect that could be seen.
