I shot the final few scenes also at the cemetery, at the foot of a gravestone over there, continuing from Scene 9. Scenes 10 - 14 have the most emotional significance throughout the entire film, as Jane, the character portrayed by Reece in this bit, picks up the necklace and holds it up, almost in slow-motion, with flashback to her past self in Scene 13 (which is played by Natasha). This also how the main plot of the film finishes. I sketched out how I roughly wanted this bit to look like on my storyboard, and filmed it in real life with a couple of differences. As in Scenes 7 - 9, when I got round to filming in real life I found there to be a few of the same issues.

In the shots on the left, I experimented with a few different angles and perspectives from where the character goes to open the box to reveal the necklace. All of the shots are shot at normal speed, but the actor shows a great deal of hesitation, which is what is intended.

One of the most important things I had to think about was how I could hide the face of the actor and film only the hands so that it didn't giveaway that there were two different actors playing the camera, and it hopefully would seem like one.

The footage that was collected was obviously very different from the initial idea I had conceived on the storyboard due to this, although it followed the same plot line, just shot in a different way. The general idea of this shot is that the very second the actor draws the necklace towards her face, there would be a flashback to her memory

The general idea of this shot is that the very second the actor draws the necklace towards her face, there would be a flashback to her memory which is the video I filmed a while back at her house of Natasha wearing the necklace. This took many shots to get it eventually right and the way I liked it, as I am a bit of a perfectionist admittedly. I told her the kind of vision I had for this short simple shot, which is where she slowly puts it around the neck, which goes with the lyrics in the song for the video; 'put it on me, that's the best part baby, the trust' an allusion to the necklace in the video. In fact those lyrics are part of the reason why I chose the song for the second part of this film.
