Using Fusion 3D I designed models of basic lampshades that could be placed around the house in a stylish environment. To do this I used an entirely different process to the keyring, however I used some of the same tools and processes. However to start off I made a simple light with a lightbulb supported by one stand as shown below.

To create this simple lamp, I made a disc shaped base, and a stand, both made by sketching an appropriately sized circle and using the extrusion tool which was rather straightforward.

The next part I did to create the lightbulb and the part underneath was sketch half the shape of these elements from the side view of the lamp, in order to use the revolve tool and make them 3D. However the two parts were revolved separately as different bodies, so that later it would be easier to render textures onto them.

Next using a horizontal plane tool I created a way to sketch the circular part directly below, which isn't a part of the standalone unit, but it was necessary for the base so that I could make my own lampshade designs later on. The final step was adding the textures to the bodies before rendering, and I used a chrome finish for the stand, a simple grey plastic for the piece and an 'emissive' which was 8 lumens.
