Adobe Spark Ads for Lamp Design

Using Adobe Spark, a very simple platform for creating social media ads and online ads, I created some mock advertisements using the online web app to advertise the lamp I designed. In these ads I used the jpeg files of the lamp environment renders as the backgrounds. I then used a variety of text presets and design elements to be incorporated into the advert.

These three ads each have their own sort of branding and identity. It's the same lamp marketed in three completely different ways. In the first ad I kept it very clean and simple, rather like an Apple advert - mainly clean white, and an ethereal background. The text I used in this one is French, to give it a unique sense of authenticity, as not many products are marketed in this way and specifically chose a modern, simplistic looking font. It features a very monochrome colour palette with the exception of the decals in the background.

In ad 2, the background uses tones of calming blue/green colours, featuring the prominent slogan, 'Make It Feel Like Home', with the obvious implication that the product is made to do this, as the text encircles the lamp. This create a message that it would be more of a homely atmosphere for the client. There is also a sale sticker I used in bold writing, using a similar font.

In the third advert I really went with the two basic colours of red and black, my preferred colour combination, and also the same colour as the lamp and coffee table. For this ad I increased the saturation and brightness of the render to make the colours really stand out. It has more of a posh, Art Deco feel because of the wall paper and the design of the logo that simply reads; 'The Lamp'. There is also a 50% off sticker on the right side advert in solid writing like the 'lamp' text is written in, which has a 3D outline effect.
